Choices For My Daughter!

  • When I was 6 my favourite present was a garage. I had dolls but I also had a skateboard. I had options. When my daughter was born I was shocked that everything was pink fluffy and princessy, actually disappointed.
  • I'm making a determined effort to give my daughter choices. Having TowardTheStars as a resource means that I have support in raising a strong, confident, well adjusted and intelligent daughter.

Amazing Future

  •  The idea that my daughter lacks the opportunity to go out and do whatever she feels like because it isn't "girly" is ridiculous. I am trying to teach her that there is more to life than boys, make up, dresses and being pretty. I want her to be a strong, independent, confident and successful person.
  • I have been looking to find an outlet like TowardtheStars to show her how amazing she is, and how amazing her future truly is, no matter what the media says.

About Us

We believe every child is placed on this earth to accomplish something remarkable, something that only he or she can do. Our tribe was created with one single purpose, to help reduce all threats to girlhood that crush our girls ' true nature and potential. We focus on overturning the gender stereotypes that make girls obsess with body image, keep girls from taking leadership roles, that limit girls' interests in sciences and math and cause them to feel self-aware when playing sports.
